Hi all,
We family of 3 applied for multiple TRV for 2 weeks submitted at VAC in Abu Dhabi. Submitted all the requested documents such as no objection letter from the employer, 4 months bank statement showing CAD17000, photocopies of the air ticket and hotel booking, marriage certificate, child birth certificate, child's school fee payment slips, etc..

Visa got refused due to not satisfying the officer that we would leave at the end of the stay, including:
- Travel history
- Purpose of visit

Can anyone please help when to re-apply and with what new documents. Do I need to show an invitation letter from a relative in Canada? Please advice...

Thanks.

It seems that you just sent documentation for the sake of sending documentation... what was the purpose of "child's school fee payment slips"? Also the "etc" doesn't tell us much on what else can you send...

If you are visiting a relative in Canada and you didn't attach an invitation letter from that relative then that would have been an immediate refusal.

As immigration stated, you have to send relevant documents that explain why are you travelling (purpose). A letter of invitation would have been obvious.

Use common sense when submitting documents.
