I had applied for a TRV to canada on May 28th, 2014 (Paper application at Mumbai Centre). My purpose of visit was a Rotaract cultural exchange Round trip for 10 days (22nd August to 31st August) and 10 days beyond for sight-seeing. Rotaract is the youth wing of Rotary International and only 6 rotaractors from different countries of the world are invited for this. I am 23 years old woman, a dentist by profession (graduated in October 2013) and working two permanent jobs since then. I submitted the following documents:
1. Official letters from both employers stating that I am a permanent employee and they are granting me leave from August 16th to September 30th for the trip and also my salary.
2. Official Visa Support letter from Rotaract District of British Columbia with detailed itinerary. They will be covering travel, food and accomodation for the days.
3. Official letter from my home Rotaract Club outlining my representation and post. Receipt of payment for the trip (365 CAD)
4. Bank documents- (1 account held jointly with my father having approx. 10,000 CAD and two of my father's accounts having approx. 8,000 CAD)
5. Letter of Sponsorship from my father stating he is sponsoring me for the trip.
6. My birth certificate for proof of relationship to father.
7. My father's income tax returns for the past 3 years.
8. Flight itinerary. (21st August to 10th September)
9. Official certificate of registration as a dentist with the State Dental Council.
Reasons for refusal:
1) Your travel history (I haven't traveled outside my country.)
2) Family ties in Canada and country of residence (I am an only child living with my parents and grandmother. My father is a retired bank employee, mother-stay at home. I don't have any blood relatives in Canada.)
3) Purpose of visit (Official invitation letter from Rotaract District of British Columbia with itinerary enclosed)
4) Personal assets and financial status
I am not satisfied you have sufficient funds including income or assets to carry out your stated purpose in Canada.
What do you think, should I reapply? What other documents can I include to support the application further?
