TRV (PAPER) application submitted on October 30, 2013

HI,
I had submitted my application to CIC for TRV, which received by them on 25th of October 2013. I am still waiting for my passport to come back. I have already cancelled my flight of 14 December to go back home, but I still need my passport back so I can replan my trip. It is very important for me to go back, I sent few email to CIC to get status update, but received the generic reply.

If anyone applied around the same time please update me about there processing time?

Hi there,

We are in the same situation . They received my passport october 25 th and send them an emailed 2 weeks ago and said they will my passport shortly . I have a trip on Dec 28 , but my problem is i still have an appoitment at the US consulate for a transit Visa which is this Wednesday 18 and i cancelled my appoit. 3 times already and this is my last chance since they have no mire appoitment available until January which is so late .

I hope my passport arrives by tomorrow because today i already checked the mail and nothing yet

Hi LuzArkus,
In my case, i sent them an email around a week ago and they said my appication is in process(Generic email). I had sent them Xpesspost envelop and i cannot track it yet, so this mean its still sitting with them.

Did you send them Xpress envelop and can you please share your timeline for this process.

No, I did not send and Xpresspost . So there is no way i can track it .i did not read that when i was filling up my application , Too Bad, . I guess i have to wait and pray . This is driving me nuts . Hope we get our passports soon!

I just checked with them, my passport is still underprocess. what date they issued your visa.

Mine is a paper application . I mailed my passport and application together in October 25 .
