TRV online Application

Hey,

I've been trying to apply for my TRV online but every time I complete the eligibility questionnaire, the results I get as options that I am eligible to apply for are Temporary Resident Permit, Temporary Resident Permit (Work Permit) and Temporary Resident Permit (Open Work Permit). I never get the option of TRV to apply for online.

What should I do?

You are probably not answering the eligibility questions correctly.
Your purpose of visit should be temprorily less than 6 month.

Entries are allowed for not more than 6 months. It could be treated as a mistake by the visa office if you meet all the requirements. How many days/months you indicated on the visa application form (thus, how long you are visiting Canada)? Note that if you have stated more than 6 months also on the visa application form, and you don't have tangible reason other than just visit, your application is likely to be refused. Maybe explain you circumstance more and we can advise you more appropriately. Thus, if you should's apply for more than 6 months, you can sent a letter to the visa office to correct the mistake.

Actually I had applied for TRV and i am already in Canada as a worker and that question are asked to know if I am
Eligible or not to extend my TRV.

Then your case is different. Very simple!! You are a temporary resident of Canada and your TRV will be issued till passport expiring date or your work permit! It shouldn't take long, like maximum of 2-12 days to get passport request leeter

i got passport request for TRV two days back and i sent my passport through canada xpresspost prepaid yesterday and i put small envelope in big envelope with passport and a letter and sealed the big one and then canada post gave me tracking numbers for both envelopes but the problem is that both tracking numbers are activated and both are showing in transit

I did anything wrong? or is it normal? Cry

Everything is perfect bro nothing to be worried because your documents is in the transit now,you could see in different location tomorrow,so please share your timeline,when did you apply and online or paper application?

oh it took so long,do you know the reason why it took so long because in cic website it says 6 days only if we apply through online within canada.

on the website its showing totally wrong now a days

if you call on cic number and on call go to TRV processing time, there the automated machine tells exactly whats the processing time, you can also try by calling on cic number press 1 and then 1 again and then press 8 and then you will listen the exact process time

So I want to send my passport and letter,is this ok?Or do I need to send
Photo also?After how many days I received my passport back.my work permit is
Valid till may 21 so that means I could receive my TRV till that time?I also submitted my Bowp
On 19 January.So what do you think?They will give TRV according to TRV or BOWP

Most likely till the expiring date of your current valid permit.
