TRV online application.... Didnt get confirmation email as soon as I applied..!!

Hi folks,

I have applied for a TRV from USA and I am an Indian citizen living in US under F1 Visa. I didnt get any confirmation email but just got the confirmation page on their website when I paid my application fee. Is this the way it is supposed to be for an online TRV application?
Also how long does it take to hear from them about the decision and if in case the VISA is approved then how long does it take to get my VISA stamped? Am Very confused !!!! pls pls help... they dont mention anything on their website.

Once you login..You will have submission confirmation link..
Click that..
Then beneath that there will be message, If you click the message Then it will be saved in the form of PDF..
Mail triggering sometimes take time.. Don't bother about it..

I did noticed that when I applied, I got the confirmation message on MyCIC right away but I received the email notifying about this message like 12 hours later.

After applying online, you'll have to wait 1 month approx to hear back from them (message on mycic) and if everything is alright theyll ask you to send your passport. so basically you now have to wait...
