Hello,

My Fiance and I are thinking of getting married soon in her country however we are uncertain of the date due to Family reasons. She may also come to Canada with me again so we can visit my family and have a vacation here (she has been here off a Open Work Permit before, that's how we met)

The question is:

If she were to apply to TRV, and with that TRV being approved, and then later we decide to Marry in her country if all is well and the date is suitable. Would this cause any issues with her coming with me back to Canada and then Sponsor her In Canada? She would be entering the country as a visitor, and eventually when the time comes I will sponsor.

The reason I ask this is the website says this:

If you wish to stay in Canada as a permanent resident, you must leave the country and apply from outside Canada, except in the special circumstances listed below. To become a permanent resident, you must meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

You can apply to become a permanent resident from inside Canada if:
you are a spouse or common-law partner of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Comments appreciated.

Thanks,

AC
