TRV Manila applicant: Funds needed as Proof of means of financial support

I would like to ask our friends here if how much would be the safe amount to show in the application? Does it have to be shown in peso or canadian dollar?

Rule of thumb show CAD$1000/week plus airfare.

You can show it in PHP and they will convert it during assessment.

The funds you show must also be commensurate with the rest of your profile: age, salary, etc. They will be suspicious when there is a sudden large deposit for example.
