TRV longer than Study permit

Hi guys,

I am applying for TRV to return to Canada in January, I have applied back in July and got refused for missing documents, now I apply again on November ( hope they've got all documents they need ) but my study permit is going to expire MAR 31st 2016

so the question is, if they were to approve my application, is it possible for TRV validity to be more than the study permit ?
are they going to refuse my application and advice me to apply for study permit ?
or they can issue me a TRV which has validity same as the SP ?( 4 month )

I am hope to go back to school in January even thought, haven't heard from them since I submit my application

2&3. There might be some issue. But technically, it should get approved.
