Hi I am from Pakistan. I am in a process of interview for an employer in Canada for the position of administration . But the employer wants to provide the job after 6 months of trial by assessing my capabilities, its like a long time interview. The employer is sponsoring all expenses that includes travel, visa, accommodation, food etc.

After discussing with Canadian High commission they ask me for a Authority letter on a stamp paper mentioning that his bank statement to be used as proof being sponsored by someone in Canada. Can anyone guide what to do in this case. I am a bit confused about under wich visa type I should apply.
Kindly Help

You need to apply for a work permit. Before you can apply for a work permit, your employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA.

You still require a work permit to come to Canada for the trial period. You cannot use a TRV to do this.

Thankyou! But High commission said I am eligible for TRV because I will be staying for 6 month period?! That's a bit confusing.

I don't see how that's possible.

You will be working for your employer (although on a trial period) and will be compensated through being paid for your travel, visa, accommodations and food. This requires a work permit.
