Hi,

I live in Finland on work visa. I am citizen of Pakistan. I have lived in Finland for 6 years. Next year I will get Finnish citizenship.

I applied for TRV visitor visa on 26 December 2021. To my surprise, it was refused on 21 Febraury 2022.

The reasons were: Family ties to Canada & Finland (did not elaborate further), purpose of trip and immigration status in Finland.

I applied again on April 11, 2022 addressing these concerns. I also got a valid U.K. multiple entry visa this time. I showed my brother who also lives in Finland. This application has still not been processed.

At the time of application, I had no family in Canada. I emphasized it. But now my brother who lived in Finland has moved to Canada on PR from Express Entry. In this application, I gave travel dates as July 6 - July 20 with a purchased hotel + flight booking. I sent a webform stating that my reason for visit is still valid even though travel dates have passed. I have not recieved any response on webform (sent on July 4).

I have one question now:

1. Should I send a new webform stating that my brother has moved to Canada? or not? I want to be fully honest and truthful but I also know that having family in Canada may again result in negative decision.

If any expert can give some guidance, that would be great. Thanks.

No need for webform. Just wait for decision on application.
