Hey guys,

So I will be applying for my mom and dad's TRV. I am PR resident.

My dad lives in my grandad house and it was under my grandad's name. Dad lives with his older brother and two older sisters (brother and sisters not married). They have been living in same residence for over 40 years

My dad will be transferring that one property in his, his brother and his sisters' names shortly.

My questions are as follows

1). Logically it shouldn't, but if my dad changes ownership now, will it have any effect on TRV application?

2). The ownership will have four names to the property. My dad mainly deals with all the maintenance work of property. If the property has four owners will it prove dad's ties to home country in such a case?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

Not sure if the visa officer would delve deeper into the property transfer and question why the transfer was not done earlier. Probably a case where the granddad passed away without leaving an inheritance will.

Not really. It's like how much renovation and home maintenance is to be done that would make it a compelling reason to return to?

My dad thought so as well. He asked me if they give him power of attorney on property will that make sufficient case for ties at home?

Thanks

Typically, a Power of Attorney would work as a tie if the person granting the POA lives abroad/in another town or if the person is not physically able to carry out the tasks stated in the POA.

In your dad's case, his brother and sisters live at the same address. They also have their children to help them with the tasks. So, IMO, a POA might not help.

Your dad may want to focus on other ties or other reasons/events that are scheduled after his intended visit

I am sorry, I may not have explained it properly.

My dad's brother and sister are not married and they don't have kids of their own. They are elderly, in their late 70s early 80s.

In such a scenario will POA to dad prove sufficient ties to home country?

In that case, yes, it can be a tie depending on any property-related matters that your dad needs to attend to after his intended visit.

That said, do focus on other strong ties and not the POA

Sure.

Can you please tell me if the following will prove to be strong ties?

1). I have two younger siblings, one is working and living with my parents, the other is in third year of university and living with my parents

2). My father is retired, and has pension account
for which he has to be there monthly to collect amount

Anything else I should focus on?
