Trv getting late since August

Good day house, I applied for Visitor visa through a friend of mine that send me invitation letter on 16 of August 2018 and I did my biometric on 27 of August 2018,upto now I have not heard anything from IRCC and I am really confused and don't know what to do again,my agents keeps telling me to be patience and calm that it will comes out positively......house pls help me out, I applied online
