TRV from inside CANADA, how long should be? and wich OWP form?

Hello everybody.. please help! ???

All this is so confusing, i just looking into fill the application for extend my open work permit . (I came on the International Experience Program)

I got married in april this year, and have a 3 years relationship, so im collecting paper for my future inland PR application. My husbanb have taxes complicated situation so i think is going to take us like 6 month to clear it.. So until then I wanna stay in Canda with the same condition i have until now..

I have an 1 year OWP, until dec 3
and my one year TRV expires in nov 11..

So Im aplying for TRV 5257E, dont know how long should I ask for?? and want the same for OWP..

I found the form IMM5710E, APLICATION TO CHANGE CONDITION, EXTEND STAY OR REMAIN IN CANADA AS WORKER
But start with question doesnt match, or i dont know what to answer. Said.:

-A work permit with the same employer
-Restoration of your status as a worker
-An initial work permit or work permit with a new employer
-Temporary Resident Permit.

Please help me.. do i need other form? or what?

Unfortunately, specific to IEC - the work permit cannot be extended. See here:

You can't extend it, but you can re-apply at a visa office outside of Canada, provided bilateral agreements under IEC allow multiple participations. As in your other posts, you mentioned you have a Chilean passport, I am assuming you are from Chile. If that is the case, the bilateral agreement allows one participation only, so sorry to tell you, there is no re-application. Ouch! Yeah. I know chile can not extend their working visa with the IEC program anymore.. I was thinking may be cause my siituation was change ???

But i still can i apply for TRV inside Canada right? like visit how long can I ask for?
I have no intention to return to live in Chile, i just want to stay with my husband, but have the possibility to travel to meet my parents.

My husband, have a bad tax situation after stay 5 year outside Canada, is going to take like 9 month to get it fixed, they said So when that is done we can start with the PR application.. or can he apply for sponsor with no NOA?

So how I apply for OWP once we start PR application? If I apply before my Work Permit expired, do i get implied status?

Yes you can still apply for a TRV inside Canada considering you still have legal status in the country. As to how long you can ask for, well the TRV only has a validity date until when it can be used to re-enter the country. You may be referring to "how long can you ask for in an application to extend your stay as a visitor" which results in a visitor record and is different from a TRV (which is an entry doc used for travelling back into Canada/entering Canada). How long a period to ask for an extension is dependent much on the reasons for your stay - do you have enough funds for your stay, etc. You will be evaluated under the requirements of temporary resident applications.

Well under these circumstances, you may not even be eligible for an open work permit now. IEC cannot be extended, and there are no other options right now making you eligible for any work permit (no PR application, no new LMIA, etc.)

Generally, if you apply for any extension application (work permit/extension of stay as a visitor) before the current permit expires, you get implied status until a decision is made on your application.
