TRV for wife with US Visa

got a scenario here and needs your advise..

I am a holder of ME US visa. I got my ME Canadian TRV last year after my US trip and still unused until now. Now, my wife just got her US ME visa too. We plan to apply her for TRV so we can visit Toronto together.

My concern, on my first attempt to apply for Canadian TRV, even though I was holding an unused ME US visa that time, I was denied. I am afraid that the same fate will happen with my wife's application.

Our profile is almost the same like travel and employment history, both working for 10 years in Saudi Arabia and traveled to same countries except US with kids back in the Philippines.

Should she use her US visa first then apply for Canadian TRV later?

Travelling always raises chances.

Would that make a REAL difference? No one can tell you that.

My wife got rejected for TRV 5 times in the past. She went to US last December (with a visa) and she got her TRV to Canada recently without any hassle. This may help I guess.

Finally after 21 days (exact processing time in KSA), we received the passport request letter for my wife..

Here's her timeline...

March-21-2015 03:46:34 AM EDT- Original Passport Request
