hello

my boyfriend and I have been reading this site for weeks now trying to get details that can help me visit canada.
To start with, My bf is a canadian citizen, born and raised and will sponsor me to visit canada. He will shoulder all expenses for my trip. He owns a company and also employed at a certain university for more than a decade now. we have been together now for 6mos and he visited me here in philippines twice.
as for my background; I am employed by a resputable international company and earning enough for my needs. though i cannot show them any properties yet. My family lives here and i have a a 3 yr old son. My family owns a agricultural land in province. i do not have any relatives living in canada.
now the grey part is; he is separated for 4 years now and currently working on his divorce. I was married too but recently found out that my marriage was never registered. philippine doesnt have common-law practice. question is, do i have to tell officer about my marriage thing or if i wont, will that cause problems? do i have to fill in the marriage portion on the application form?

is there any great chance of getting visitors visa considering these details?

thanks.

The easiest way for you to get a visa is application through fiancee sponsorship. In this regard, you will be given an immigrant status after the consummation of marriage.

Temp resident visa as visitor, maybe be another of your option to get to Canada. Present documents that will establish strong ties to the Philippines. Bank accounts in your name, properties, car, certificate of employment with approve leave of absence, travel histories. Affidavit of support from your bf may or may NOT be helpful. However you can show it as evidence at your risk. In conclusion, the only way to know is to apply.

Good Luck
