I applied for my parents' TRV in January 2021, and got the BIL shortly after that. Due to COVID-19, I couldn't book any appointment for biometrics, and in December 2021, their application was refused due to not having provided biometrics.
I sent them a webform explaining that the VFS offices were closed, due to which they couldn't give biometrics. They replied that your application is with the Delhi office so contact them. I did, and they replied that they'll reply within 30 days.
However, on January 18, 2022, my credit card was charged for $170 ($75 biometric fee per person) by Immigration Canada. I haven't received any update in the profile or any email stating that my parents can give biometrics now. Was this done in error or have they reopened the file?
