TRV for parents during pregnancy

As we are expecting our first baby ,we are thinking of inviting my parents to Canada .am wondering what is the best approach for a faster approval process and one more thing am confused about is on the way the application should be filed .as if now I created a cic account for my parents and filing the application , however someone suggested that I can apply from my cic account

I would drop the idea for traveling especially for old people until most people in Canada has been Covid vaccinated.
