TRV for parent

Hi there,

I have a friend whose parent wants to apply for TRV from india, however, the parent will be travelling on name/passport of another sibling who passed away in states about 15 years ago. Will the immigration officer be able to access this information?

I did mention to them that this incorrect and fraud but they insisted. If i were to report this, how do i go about it.

This is a horrible idea. It's a crime and there's a very good chance they will be caught and deported at the port of entry. Once that happens, then can forget about coming to Canada as visitors in the future.
