This is regarding my infant daughter's TRV (she is about 2 months old now). I completed my masters from a University in Canada in April 2012. I have a full-time employment offer and have started to work wince June 2012. My daughter was born in India. My wife was with me since August 2012 and went to India for delivery.
We submitted the application on 25-June and we got the passport back within 5 days with instructions to get medical examination done. We completed the medical examination and resubmitted the passport. Passport is with high commission since 4-July and the status is "under processing". I wrote to the high commission and received a response that the medical results are satisfactory and the application is awaiting final decision by the visa officer. My wife's and my visa is valid till 31-August-2012 and I have a post graduation work permit which is valid for 18 months (my passport is expiring in 18 months).
Please let me know if this delay is expected?
