Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to find some advice about procuring 6 month single-entry TRVs for my family.

I'm a 31 y/o Canadian born and raised and my wife is a 25y/o Filipina. We have a 2 year old dual citizen daughter together, and my wife has a 7y/o Filipina daughter. We've been married for 2 years and have been living in South Korea since a 2011. My work contract is up at the end of August and we'll be moving back to her hometown in the Phils.

We want to visit my parents in Canada for Christmas time and spend a couple of months together as a family, but I'm a bit concerned about my wife's chances getting a visa because of her lack of ties to the Phils.

My wife has no formal education, no property ownership, no close family ties except 3 siblings (her parents are both deceased), no employment in Phils, etc.

The only material assets to the Phils we could provide are ownership of a motorcycle, a bank account, and rental lease on a house we'll be living in starting in September.

Money and funding the trip is not an issue. My parents are supporting our return with lodging, food, and so on. I can also show my bank statements from my Korean account, and can supply a Bank Draft for a few thousand dollars if I need to.

We will eventually go through the procedures for PR sponsorship, although there is no set date. Because of my work, we will be back abroad again, so it's not worth going through the process until we're sure about settling in Canada.

How can we assure the VO that we don't intend staying beyond the 6 months?

Thank you all so much for your advice.
