TRV for Filipino Applicants' Timeline and Plans <PLS JOIN>

Hello Kababayans,

Please join in this thread and let us help each other in TRV applications.
My VISA took only 5 working days pf processing, but the package was sent to me 4 working days after the VISA stamp.

Called Call Centre for Documents' Pickup Schedule: February 11, 2013
Documents were Picked Up: February 12, 2013
Documents were Sent to CEM: February 13, 2013
Passport and Visa Counterfoil: Februarry 19, 2013 (exactly 5 working days only from the day it was processed)
Documents were sent back: February 25, 2013

Hope everyone waiting for their visas will be approved, too.
Lets just pray hard, dont lie and be confident that we will get our visas.

hello..ang bilis naman ng application mo. I would like to ask if you hired a consultancy for your TRV? and how long did they give you? I have a friend kase na mgaaply for TRV shes, 18yo. And a student..you think malaki ung chance?

my mom and sister are planning to apply again, they were already been given TRV way back 2004 pa, single entry
this time apply ng multiple entry, hoping na mabigyan ulit sila
my brother is already in Canada and he will be sponsoring their stay
tapos yung sister ko is self employed no properties but with bank accounts
my mom naman have properties

sa tingin nyo ba malaki chances nila mabigyan ulit ng TRV?

Yes, I was surprised din when I found out that I had Visa in 5 working days only.
I did the application myself, the validity of my visa is 02/19/2013-08/19/2013, I can stay and enjoy Pinas summer season pa until early August before going to Toronto. If your friend is a student and only 18 y/o, I cant affirm if she'll be approved but she can certainly apply. Just make sure to provide strong ties here in the Phils. If she has a relative in Canada, her relative must send a letter of invitation, declaration of support for her intended stay and proof of being a PR or Citizen of Canada. The relative can also send to her savings account to show that the relative can support her. On her end, your friend must submit to CEM (Canadian Embassy) proofs of being a student here, enrollment form and paid tuition fees. She must prove strong ties like parents and siblings living and working here. Must show bank statements ( I dont know if at her age, she already have saved up to 3-5k CAD?) I am an employee, and apart from bank statements I submitted the last three-month-paysilps, employment letter and certificate of leaves approved by my boss to convince the VO (Visa Officer) that I will definitely come back here to resume working and will not remain in Canada long term.

If your mom and sister have single entry Visas before, its not an dvantage over those applicants applying for the first time. They have to go through the same process again for Muti entry.
Make sure your mom and sister have all the necessary documents before applying as I am hearing some refusals for Multi entry. But as long as they have all the documents, the intention of visiting Canada is clear and they are genuine visitors, I think their app will be ok. Make sure to show evidences of strong ties here in the country.

Just want to share about the TRV that I applied for my parents:

TRV - Single Entry

Documents Pick-up by Air 21 - April 11, 2013
VISA approved - April 29, 2013
Passport Returned from Air 21 - May 4, 2013

To all applicants... be positive and be honest with your intentions...provide all the required documents that they are asking for and lastly pray and believed....
