Hi everyone! I am a Canadian citizen who has married a Moroccan and we are in the process of filling out the paperwork for me sponsoring her to get her PR. We have two young children (under 2) and we would like to visit family in Canada this summer. I've seen on the CIC website that it can take up to 5 months to get a citizenship certificate, which, when factoring the time it takes to get a passport on top of that, would likely preclude us being able to go before the fall. I am considering going ahead and applying for a TRV for my wife, even though I understand that it can be a bit of a leap of faith, but my question is can I also apply for a TRV for our children so they can visit the country while their citizenship papers are being processed?
