I am a December, 2013 CEC applicant. i am still waiting for medical request

My wife has three years multiple entrance visa which will expire in 2014. I got two questions

1 - the stamp on her passport is saying that she has to leave the country June 18,2013(6 mounths period). eventho she has three years multiple entrance visa. can i extend her stay in canada? what forms do i need to fill up?

2 - do i need to sent her passport with the application package?

The VISA expiry date only indicates that you have to enter the country before your VISA expires. Since there is a date written by the officer that your spouse has to leave the country before June 2013, you have to apply for her visitor extension by following the below link.

You can also apply for her visitor extension online. You have to answer a few questions by visiting www.cic.gc.ca and you will be directed to the online app formalities. If you submit a paper application, the passport needs to be sent along with the application. If you submit an app online, CIC will request you to send the passport once the app is approved.
