Hi,

I want to apply for my parents (dad is retired, getting pension and mom is housewife)and sister (26 years old) for the 2nd time. Before they got visa and visited in 2019. Few situation has been changed than last time--
  • Sister is not depended anymore (0lder than 22) and married
  • Dad is retired now. No employment can be shown.

However they have enough funds to visit again.now my questions are--
  • Sister is doing MBA now and have NOC. Finance will be covered by dad. Enough funds and financial declaration will be provided by dad. Should I apply her separate as no longer depended?
  • My sister's husband is also doing MBA now and have NOC. Finance will be covered by dad. Enough funds and financial declaration will be provided by dad. Should I also include him with parents and sister OR apply him later alone to show tie with my sister to go back after visit?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Shenjuti

She is married and over 22 so she is a separate application along with her spouse. They need to show their own funds as parents funds are not relevant. Whether he applies now depends on whether he has the funds, travel history, ties to return and reasons to travel.

Hi @Naturgrl thanks for your reply. But both my sister and her husband are students. Don't have their own funds. But both my dad and sister's dad-in-law have enough funds to cover their trip cost and ready to provide financial declaration. Will that work? Their tie to go back is their ongoing study and family in back home.
Is it a good idea to apply for all of them now OR parents and sister and her husband separately.

Please advise.

It is fine that they are students but still need to show their own funds to show they can afford to visit Canada. They are not dependants on the parents. If sister wants to come on her own then it is her choice to apply but she is separate from her parents.
