I am looking for your guidance on my movement to Canada. I am an IT professional working in India with significant experience.
My husband has got a transfer to Canada under ICT-SK category and his employer is sponsoring his TRV,WP and my TRV. However, I want to work there too and search for jobs. So, I want to apply for OSWP on my own.
1. Is this ok with the above approach of separately applying for OSWP? Will this attract a delay or a decline considering OSWP was not requested in the initial application for TRV?
2. Should I begin my OSWP application parallely with the TRV application? The TRV is handled by my husband's employer.
I am confused now as to what should be followed and the right process. My employer's visa consultants would charge a legal fee if I approach them for my OSWP. Whereas I was of the impression that my OSWP is just another request with the cost of government filing only.
