TRV extension

I need some advice on extending my stay here in Canada.

I arrived here in Canada in September 2020 with a Temporary Resident Visa and this week we are going to process my Inland Spousal Visa Application and Open Work permit.

My TRV will expire on March 3, 2021, so I am planning to submit an extension next week but I am just confused about what Application form should I use. I've done the research and it is saying apply visitor record and it confused me.

Is there anyone here who can help me understand how to extend my stay here in Canada while my Inland Spousal visa and Open work Permit application are in the process?

You would need to submit the application for visitor record not TRV aka visa. You would need TRV only when you plan to leave and enter the Canada again.

Hi, I opened the link you attached here but I can't figure out how to submit my application (form 5708) online.

I forgot how I did it last year for my TRV. Can you please help me?
