TRV Extension possible ?

Hi All,

If am granted a single entry 6 month TRV, at the end of this period... would it be possible to extend it for a further 6 months to end along with my Wife's study permit ?

are TRV extensions difficult to get ? whats the scenario if I manage to find work ? can I extend it based on that ?

Once you are in Canada on your TRV, you can apply for an open work permit and longer TRV based on your wifes study permit. If you just want to apply to extend the TRV, you can to it a month before your 6 months expire. It takes a couple of months to process so even if they say no, it will buy you a little more time.

Same as for your TRV application, that you have funds and that you plan to return to your home country once your visit is up. I don't know how hard they are to get. Sometimes people get refused.
