TRV Extension (applied within Canada)

I applied for TRV extension on Nov 26, 2024. The processing time then was 18 days. My case is still pending and the processing time is now showing 49 days. Has anyone who applied at end of November getting decisions on their applications?

There is no such thing as a TRV extension. You either applied for a new TRV or extended stay as a visitor. If applied for new TRV what is your status in Canada.

I’m on work permit here. I meant to say I applied for my visitor visa as my old visa is expiring in February 2026.

You are within normal times as it is processing time as of today. All you can do is wait.

Most wait significantly longer. Posted processing times are not guaranteed and often not reflective of true processing times.
