Trv extension applied month ago but did not get any response,help plz

Hiiii,
We applied for trv extension for my mom who is in canada nd her visa is expired on 2 feb.we applied online on 13th dec and did not get any update from cic. Her return tkt is end of jan,what we can do,is she stay here upto we did not get any response from cic,plz hlp. Bcoz i really need her bcoz my due date is also on end of jan

Don't worry as your mother had already submitted her application before her status is due to expire (i.e 2 Feb) she is allowed to stay in canada. if she had applied online then it may take from 1-2 months to get a decision and in case of a paper application it may take even longer. during the application process if your mother's status expire (i.e on 2 feb) your mother will still be legally allowed to stay in canada (it is called an implied status) until cic makes a decision on her application.
on the approval of the application she will receive a document called visitor record through mail at your home address. the visitor record will have a starting date of 2 Feb and an expiry date ( the extension time you request 6 months/1 year). So nothing to worry about she will remain with a legal status no matter the application gets approved in March or April.
The only course of action is to make sure your application is received at cic office. in case of online application it is pre-confirmed and you receive an email once you submit your application. If you made a paper application you can track your package through your courier tracking system.

2when cic sent letter as u say vistor record bcoz she has return tkt on end of jan.
3)If suppose they refuse visa ,is there any problem at airport when she go back.

That's how online application works
- if your application is approved you will receive an email that your application is approved. (Approx time 30-50 days)
- after approval cic will send you the visitor record at your home ( approx time 1-6 weeks)

So you can change or cancel your mothers ticket after getting the approval email.

Suppose they refuse your mothers extension she will be given time to leave the country and she won't face any problem at the airport. No one face problems when leaving canada.
