TRV extension actual processing times

Hello everyone,

Can you please advise the current actual processing times in TRV visa extension? i mean the one's who get approved their extension recently. How long it takes from mailing your application up to the approval of extension?

If you mail your visa extension before the 6 months usually it takes up to 90 days. But sometimes earlier depends on backlogs. I got my mom extension which is ( visitor record for another 6 months) she didn’t have to leave Canada just because her first 6months ended.)

yup i applied inland and it was received by CPC Mississauga last monday and my TRV extension of stay application received in CPC Vegreville today. I mailed it last minute. My duration of stay as tourist will end on friday next week. I'll have to wait for 90 to 100 days on this.

Yes, I believe we receive an email, we did online thought. You could login to Mycic and check your application status. If it’s in process then your good. Or simply call CIC to verify if they receive your package
