TRV - Driving to Canada vs. Return Ticket dilemma

I am in the US and I am planning to drive to Toronto (which is just 4-5 hours away). I already have an official invitation letter from a company inviting me. I am in the process of applying to TRV, but I won't have a return ticket since I'm driving. Should I explain this to the officers, by writing a letter or something?

I doubt whether mode of transportation will improve your chance of a successful TRV. Proving you will leave Canada before the expiry of the visa is your priority. Pessimistically, I wonder if you tell them you are bringing your car it might be more of a negative point.

Well, I already have an expired multi-entry visa. I never overstayed or abused it. I am not going to tell them that I will be driving, I will just not include a flight ticket
