TRV - Detroit - urgent help

Hello,

I sent my TRV application to Detroit office on March 31. It arrived on April 3. My money order was cashed on April 19. Today is May 2 and I still did not get my passport back.

I have a nonrefundable flight ticket to my home country, Turkey, on May 4, this Friday. So, I need to get my passport before Friday.

What should I do? They don't give any update on the phone. I did not get any reply to my e-mails. Should I go there in person?

I think you should go in person if you can. They should be able to process it same day. Make sure you take your ticket with you.

Once they did it for me same day but that was in Seattle in 2007.

Were you able to walk in after mailing the application? Pls share your experience, it will be helpful.
