TRV Counterfoil extension within canada for Visitor Record Holders

Hi,

I have my WP and wife's Visitor Record extended until May 2017.
My TRV expired and I have applied for paper-based application for both Self & Spouse.

CIC does NOT talk about any IN CANADA TRV extension for visitor record holders.

Did I make a mistake of sending my wife's application ??
Or will they process it since she is dependent on me.

Please clarify...

Hello

please how did you get your visitors record? We came in last month on visitors visa (Myself n Kids) dependents on my spouse.

I will like to go get one for us - Can this be done at the boarder or at Toronto airport?

Will i have to go there with our passports and my kids too for them to issue the visitors records OR i can go alone with their passports?
