TRV applied through mail at Canidian Consulate in Seattle

Hey Folks,

Need a quick advice/ suggestion from you guys, I mailed out my documents to the Canidian Consulate in Seattle for Visiting Visa, they said the minimum processing time is 6weeks, it's been my 3rd day after 6 weeks and I didn't yet receive my passport, I made sure to include a USPS Priority Express return envelope, I am planning to fly to Seattle and go to the Consulate in person... Do you think after submitting the TRV application through mail, Can I walk in enquire my application status .. I am not sure after flying all the way to Seattle and can't even get in to the consulate would be worst..

Have anyone visited consulate in person after intiating the process through mail ?

Please advice, I am planning to fly sometime this week

Same problem to me...I sent my application to Seattle on Mar.28 and it arrived at 1st or 2nd of April, but I didn"t get anything until today. My flight is at TOMORROW!!! I am so worried that I don't know what to do. The telephone number of Seattle cannot check the visa and talk to a human...They don"t answer the e-mail... I am getting crazy.

I'm in the same shoe and it's driving me nuts. Did you end up making the trip to Seattle office? Please inform as I'm about to do the same thing but scared that they won't provide any updates - would be a waste of money and time that way. Please let me know if you have any updates on your end.

I am in the same boat. My application is delivered on Apr. 18th, and haven't received anything yet. They don't reply email/fax, don't answer calls. Any clue on what I can do?

Has any of you received their re-entry visa already? I applied May 25 and I still dont have it. My trip is on July 7 and I am worried.
