TRV applied online on 16th Aug., 2021

My husband applied for a tourist visa to Canada on 16th Aug 2021.
biometrics done on 1st Oct 2021

He sent mails to IRCC through the web form inquiring about the status.

The only reply we get is that it is under process. No need to reapply.

Our two sons and me (his wife) are all Canadian citizens.

What to do?

What to do?

There is nothing you can do except wait. He may try to send a webform enquiry to see if it triggers some sort of action. Also, I hope he has provided strong proof of his ties to home country. Given his spouse and children are Canadian citizen he really needs to convince visa officer that he will abide by the rules of TRV and will leave Canada and not using TRV to stay in Canada with his family long term. It will be a tough ask. All the best!

What to do?

IRCC created the new portal and requested anyone who applied Before Sep 7 2021 to reapply on the new portal
