TRV applied in UAE 2017

May 2 2017 - Applications submitted online in the UAE
May 15 2017 - Original Passport request. Passport submitted on the same day to VFS Dubai
May 20 2017 - Collected passport from the courier partner. Got a 10 year multiple entry TRV till 2027. Wa LiAllahi Hamd.

wow.. that's real fast.. im glad you got the visa that fast
this is my second time applying as the previous tourist visa got expired already last Mach same time as the expiration of my old passport, we are travelling to our home country on June 16 and till now we havent got our original passport back.. we're already thinking to temporary pull out our original passport and let the VAC just request for it later.. its already 26 days now since we applied and im in the cross road thinking if ill be waiting for the result or ill pull back our passport temporarily.

Why don't you create an account on the cic forum and link your paper application to the online account? That will give you at least some idea about the progress of your application?

May 4, 2017 application submitted to vfs office
May 7- docs received by canadian consulate
June 5- status showing approved in CIC
June 6- collected the passport in VFS
Hi ,I have applied my visit visa to Canada on 1st June at VI's dubai and received an email from Abudhabi embassy on 4th June for the receipt of application.but still my visa status shows online as under process.i am searching through the web link provided by vfs.and unable to get the reason for delay and exact status

Any update on your application? I am still waiting for my application as well, i applied TRV last June 6,2017.
I managed to sign up but then now i do not have any information except tracking numbergo to:

I applied my visa through VFS. So the only thing i have is tracking number, if i use my names and passport number system cannot locate my application
