Hello, I'm in the process of applying for a TRV for 3 weeks to visit my GF there, but I'm not sure how to prove I have the funds to cover for my trip:

1) We are limited by the government to exchange max. $3000 per year (Venezuela). Between my account and my mother's we have enough to cover that in Bolivares, how should the bank statements be presented? What should my mother's letter, where she says she would cover for my expenses, say?

2) I have an account in the US (BofA) for when I used to study there, would the online statements from BofA help my case?

My GF already wrote and signed an invitation letter stating she would give me a place to stay and would cover for my expenses if necessary, but I want to make sure I'm proving I have enough funds... Thanks!

The letter is more than enough, of course your gf has to prove how she is going to "cover your expenses if needed", for example a bank statement, schoolarship letter, paystub.

If you want to give even more detail then you don't need to prove you have CAN you only need to prove you have the funds to buy CAN. A bank statment should be fine, also a paystub would help, no matter if they are not in CAN they are good. We have provided bank statments in both US and MXN and we had no problems at all.
