I am really confused about something. I have been working/staying in US since the past few years on H1B visa. I am an Indian citizen. On the canadian visitor visa application, I listed my current country of residence as US and country of citizenship as India.
However, I created and submitted this application online on IRCC portal during a vacation in India. It did not make sense to me to list my current country of residence as India, if I am here for 3 weeks and have plans of going back to US shortly. (Please correct me if I am wrong here)
My biometrics is also scheduled in US.
In my application, I uploaded i94, i797A, my US visa stamp, bank statement mentioning my US address and employment verification letter from US employer to validate my ties with US and primary residential/mailing address in the US.
I am not sure where this application will be processed, in a processing centre/visa office in the US or India? I did create a webform to ask the same question to IRCC but thought to ask here as well. In case somebody has prior experience about a similar situation and could share their insights, it shall be helpful. Thanks in advance..
