I applied for a TRV online last Sept.2 2013 in Abhu dhabi and receive my refusal letter yesterday. I am a Filipino overseas contract worker in Qatar and I planned to spend my annual vacation leave in Canada and Philippines respectively and I have a working visa as Nurse , been working there for about 5 yrs now. According to the V.O .the reasons for refusal are as follows:
1. My Travel History
2. My Immigration Status
3. Purpose of visit
4. Current employment situation
5. Personal assets and financial status.
Documents submitted:
1. Certificate of Employment from the hospital
2. Salary certificate
3. Leave certificate stating my approved date of vacation and the date that I am expected to return from work.
4. Bank Statements that I have a savings of 7000CAD
5. For my travel history, I only visited Hong Kong and i submitted the old copy of my passport with the entry and exit stamps.
6. As for my purpose of visit, I attached the copy of the invitation letter from my auntie and explain to my cover letter that the purpose of my visit is for tourism and to visit my relatives. I even attached the copy of my plane ticket(roundtrip) from Qatar to Philippines after my planned travel to Canada but still got refused. I dont have any personal assets or Bank Account from the Philippines. I just submitted my bank account here in Qatar.
I am planning to apply again this week and I need some help and tips on how I will improve my application. My planned vacation will be on 10th Oct to 1st of November.
