TRV application is IMM 5256 or IMM 5257 ?

Hi All,

Canada has CAN+ program, are business visitors eligible ? I guess visitor visa is also called as Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).
Is the application IMM 5256 or IMM 5257 /
If it is IMM 5257, the application asks for local Canadian contact details..what to do if we do not have a contact .
please advise how to go about for online application

Indian nationals who have traveled to Canada/US in the last 10 years..... or have valid US visas, can apply for a TRV under the CAN+ program. Business visitors are eligible.

You can give your hotel details (provisional bookings) in Canada..... as a tourist.

BTW if you are a business visitor then you must include an invitation letter from a potential Canadian business partner.... along with other relevant business documents

Thanks for the info....do I need to submit confirmed air ticket,hotel booking for TRV or the letter of invitation will do ? For US visa we do not submit air ticket and hotel Accomodation.

Each country has it's own visa requirements.

You can include tentative (not confirmed) flight and hotel bookings.... and state that you will confirm the tickets when the TRV is issued. Do go through the TRV Document Checklist for India.
