TRV APPLICATION FOR WORKERS

HI!
I'm just new here. I'm a temporary foreign worker in Alberta and I'm planning to go on vacation in the Philippines this coming December. Is it better to send my application inside Canada or just apply in the Philippines as soon as I get there? I'm leaving around dec5-6 and returning on January 6-7. The processing time for inside Canada application is 14 days, i'm just scared that i don't get my passport by december if apply here. any advice? thanks in advance!

I have a similar problem and I also wonder if it's better to apply from outside Canada. Hope we get answers soon.
Btw, did you apply from Canada in the meantime? Thanks.
