I applied to extend my TRV from Canada on November 2nd, 2022. After I received my work permit on 30th October 2022.
I received a passport submission request on 16th December and the evening of 16th 2022. I send my passport through Xpress of Canada post. My passport reached the Ottawa office on the 21st, but since then my miseries started. I called them twice to seal my passport on Monday the 9th, but since then I am not able to track back my passport from Ottawa. When I called them they said it's still with them and after 4 days today I am still not able to track it back. I called them this morning, but the customer service provider said if your tracking number is not activated we haven't sent it back.
I am worried that they have lost my passport and now they are just delaying making up a story. I was scheduled to fly back to my country on Sunday the 15th, but now I guess my vacation plans are ruined.
Did anyone face this issue before?
