From which two countries do you have valid passports?

Careful, careful, careful...do not apply for a TRV before changing your status in Canada, it would be refused. First, apply to change the conditoons of your stay as a visitor, explain your situation and make sure your husband has enough funds to support you. You were already told your IEC work permit cannot be extended, as soon as it expires, you MUST stop working. If your visitor record gets approved, then you can apply for a TRV ( multiple entry visa). If your visitor records gets refused, you need to submit your inland application as soon as possible as you will be requested to leave Canada.
Apply for the visitor record on paper to gain time and your husband can fix his tax problems.

Thanks for your warning Susana.. why they would refuse my TRV? i was thinking not to apply for extension of the work permit, but just stay as a visitor with TRV???... not posible?

:( Im so confused, processing times in PR are soo long.. for me outside is 22 month.. so I thinkg i should apply inside but wanna go to visit my parent that why i was thinking on the TRV.

Thanks too much

A TRV is a document stamped on your passport allowing you to ENTER Canada only. Once you're IN Canada, the Visa is useless. A Work Permit, a Study Permit or a Visitor Record are different than a TRV in the sense that they're either allowing you to work, study, or visit Canada for a period of time.

You are allowed to apply for a TRV from within Canada (in order to be able to re-enter after you leave) ONLY if you have a valid work permit or study permit. If you have a visitor record, it expires the moment you leave Canada (unless you ONLY travel to the United States or St. Pierre de Miquelon).

Your best option is to apply outland because then you're able to leave. If you want to leave Canada while on a visitor record, however, you need to apply for a TRV again once you're out of the country.

You can't "stay in Canada as a visitor with TRV", because you don't need a TRV to STAY in Canada. Remember, it's only for ENTERING.

Ohhh thanks too much, I really have no idea, just doing everything wrong.

Apparently I have to make a choice.. stay away from my husband 2 years, or stay away from my country 1 year, or more.. is so sad :'(

So I guess I will change my stay visitor, that doesn't affect my work permit, that is still valid until dec.?

Thanks a lot!

Processing times for outland applications are usually way faster than shown on the website. You probably won't be away for that long.

You can apply for the PR now, and then in December extend your stay in Canada as a visitor. There's no need to do it now if you have a valid work permit... plus, with your current valid work permit you can get a Visa from within Canada.
