So here is the thing I am in a relationship as I am currently engaged and I got engaged last September 15 and have photos to prove it there is no written agreement but I heard that even if you have a gf you can apply for her to come to Canada with you, is that right? My question is can I apply for her TRV to come and stay with me for the duration of the visa and at the same time sponsor her as we will be married, she has family back home so she can prove her ties to her homeland, never has left her country and used to study, she doesn't work. I am currently abroad because I had to return to Canada after the engagement but yah it's almost been a year and since I am getting married in August and hopefully everything goes well, I wish that if it is possible that I can or she can apply for her TRV from her homeland to see her husband I am not yet but hopefully the dates have already been set for the marriage to commence and I can't stay long after as I will need to come back so I intend to apply for TRV for her to come with me either after the marriage or before as per the understanding of conjugal relationships you need to be living for 1 year does it necessarily mean physically because we are in contact everyday but not together in the physical sense.

As per my understanding I apply for the TRV while abroad and since we already been in a relationship for almost one year this September will be one year but also will be married in August, what are the chances for her of getting the TRV to see her husband and what is required of her other than proving strong ties to her homeland I am curious to how the proof comes is it orally or written or what she need to bring to show that proof? and one more thing can she apply for the TRV right now in her homeland? instead of waiting till we're married? does conjugal relationship mean you have to be living together because I am abroad but we're in contact on a daily basis

Your plans of getting married or anything else are of no interest to CIC. What matters is your status AS PER THE DAY OF THE APPLICATION. Let's say you are getting married tomorrow. If she applies today she would not be married under CIC's point of view (she would have to file an update to her application tomorrow). If she applies tomorrow then she would be married.

About common-law I encourage you to read what is common law. Yes it means physically but there are some ways you can prove there is a relationship. See if anyone fits.

If she is your girlfriend you can sponsor her. Send her a letter of invitation, bank statements, copy of ID and copy of your current immigration status. She can add all that to her application.
