hi guys

can anyone tell me how to apply for TRP? any information
what are the requirements.?

and how long it takes to sponsor a dependent child (only 16 months old)

waiting for your kind advice.
 
Why are you thinking about applying for a TRP? They are specifically for people who have been found inadmissible to Canada, and normally I think they're issued as a result of an inadmissibility finding . . . sometimes by an officer at a Canadian port of entry, and sometimes by officers within Canada when there are compelling reasons for an inadmissible person to stay.

How long it takes to sponsor a dependent child depends on which overseas embassy is processing the application. The timelines are on this page of the CIC website.

The OP is in Pakistan, has married, has a child, is a PR without much time to keep her PR status. Isbad has refused TRV for child, and told her she must return to Canada to sponsor child.

i was thinking about TRP because i don't think they will give me TRV so that i can go and sponsor my child. as i don't want to leave my 16 months old child in pakistan what else shall i do ?
 
according to time line it takes 8-13 months is it that long for an infant who is just 16 months old? even if i apply from canada. and ya can i use a representative who can submit my application from canada instead of me going there?? is it possible?
 
Only possible if you are citizen. If you are a PR you must be residing in Canada to sponsor. And from what I read in your previous posts you are close to the deadline where you must go to Canada anyway or you will lose your PR.

Did you apply for the TRV or the TRP yet? You keep saying you "think" but you are not going to "know" until you try. Good luck.
 
As a PR, you have to be living in Canada to sponsor. If you were a citizen, you could sponsor from outside Canada. It doesn't matter how old the child is. I am sure they do not sort childrens PR applications by age.

You said that you only have a few months yourself before you lose your PR status due to residency requirements. Aside from the sponsorship problem, you will soon have to go to Canada yourself and stay for 2 years to keep your own PR. You can not sponsor your child if you lose your PR.
 
i actually called embassy today and the said me about representative and were saying me to sponsor. i asked about trv but they simply say sponsor first what shall i do tell me? my application is ready but i am just hesitating due to all that.
