Backstory: My husband holds a US Passport. He was convicted of DUI in 2004. He qualifies to apply for "Criminal Rehabilitation" however, the court that he was convicted in destroys all of their records after 7 years and last year we destroyed our records not think after 12+ years he would ever need this information. We can not properly fill out the forms without this information. They want copies of stuff we cannot provide because it no longer exist. However, his record does exist on the FBI database.

Now with wanting to visit Canada with our two children, we find out the only way will be for him to apply for a TRP. My question is he the only one who applies for a TRP or do I and the two children also have to also apply for a TRP? I have been reading everything on the CIC website and it say "If you are inadmissible to Canada, family members (spouse, common-law partner and dependent children) travelling with you are also inadmissible and may or may not be issued an initial TRP." I have never committed a crime and have traveled to Canada on just my US Passport within the last 2 years just fine.

We will be traveling via plane. If that info is relevant.

Thanks in advance!
