Hey guys,I'm having trouble filling in my application form for my visitors Visa. Some of the questions for example postal code,Apt/Unit are not applicable for and yet when I type in N/A (Not applicable) I get a notification from Java script that I made a mistake and I therefore can't proceed with my application.
Also in the space where I have to insert my P.O box for my current mailing address, I did as asked and it was rejected yet again by Java script.
Kindly advise as I have been battling with this for a week now :(
Thank you

I recall (but not sure) they do not accept addresses with PO BOXes.

Concerning other questions - could you please specify?
Thanks Regina, so do I leave the P.o box space empty?? because under mailing address a space to fill in your P.O BOX number is given and it clearly indicates it.
My other question: Does ''Country where I am applying: Same as country of residence? mean where I am currently living or where I'm applying to go to?

Also could anyone kindly explain to me what exactly I'd have to include in my itinerary cause it is a prerequisite. I'm visiting for 2 months.

Do not ask 2 months. What kind of ties in your home country do allow you to leave them for 2 months????? You cannot leave a GOOD JOB for such a long period of time, and if you could- it is not a GOOD job that only could be considered as a TIE.

Who are you visiting in Canada?

Regina,I'm a radio presenter and I will be training an intern to sit in for me during my leave. I'm visiting my boyfriend and his family,he is Canadian but lives with me in Uganda.
I'm also a musician in my country and I have a scheduled performance at a charity concert in my country a month after my return from Canada. These are my ties so I don't if they can be considered,I do hope they are.
Please advise

It is a very tough situation because you do not have real ties in your country and are going to visit your boyfriend in Canada.

Still, explain everything (charity concert) in your cover letter to VO and my advice is ask for 3 weeks instead of 2 months. I would not mention intern because that means he can work if you are not coming back.
Also ask for an invitation letter from your BF parents (signed by him and his parents) where they explain what exactly you are going to do in Canada: will you travel- where? It is your first visit to Canada , you will definitely would not like to sit at their home all the time :), to be introduced to his friends and so on : itinerary of your stay in Canada.
