From the forums I'm seeing two different answers in this section. Some people say your original visit to Canada is your legit first time you entered the country, and your most recent visit would be the one you are on now, asking for an extension for.
Many others say the original visit refers to when you started this visit you are looking for an extension for, and that makes sense in a way. Especially since people have said that date becomes associated with your permanent residency application later. The form says to put your most recent visit date (if different from original date) but the electronic version of the form
a)will not let you leave it blank
b)will not let you put the same date or before that date
c)will not let you put a date after today.
so it has to be after the date you put for Original entry, but before today. Which I can only fathom if it really means that the original entry was my first time in Canada. People say they've used the original=this visit method and been approved, but if they were typing the document up I don't see how, as it literally doesn't let you.
