Hi folks

I came to Canada 4 years ago, initially to visit, then stayed to work, for around a year or two.

I've stayed in Canada since, and am only now leaving for a trip to the USA, to return shortly after.

What will I experience trying to re-enter?

thanks, Wheels.

You've overstayed your allowable visit by a significant amount.

It's really impossible for any of us to say what will happen when you try to re-enter Canada since what happens is up to the immigration officer you encounter when you enter. You could be allowed in without a problem, immigration could let you in but limit your visit to less than six months - or you could be denied entry. Anything is possible.
