Travelling with visitor visa while waiting for my PR Card

Hey guys,

I received my eCoPR one month ago and I am waiting for my PR Card and I have already a visitor visa that is valid till 2023. So, can i use the visitor visa for travelling internationally while waiting for the PR card? or it becomes invalid after receiving the eCoPR?

Have you landed or were you in Canada when the eCOPR was granted?

Your visitor visa is invalid. You cannot use it to travel.

@k.h.p Thank you so much. I can't even use it to travel outside Canada? and then once my wife receive the PR Cards she can send it by mail to me?

You don't need a visitor's visa to leave the country. You can leave any time you want. You can't use the visa to get back in.
